Dance lessons during your holiday on Kythira

Pyrgos Houses starts the Greek dancing lessons for beginners and for more advanced dancers. The teacher, Vangelis, will teach you several Kythirian dances. It is great fun to join the Greeks dancing at one of the many village festivals…

As many people have requested, we have found a more central location, Fratsia – which is the centre of Kythira.
Fratsia is known for its Familia Taverna and the pleasant kafeneion Apenanti (opposite Familia) so even if some of your group don’t join our lesson, they can enjoy watching the others dancing and then go for a drink with them afterwards.

Location: Fratsia, the Association building on the village square, on the right side of Familia Taverna
Price per lesson: 15.00 euro
Price per two lessons: 25.00 euro
Time: Tuesday and Friday, 5.30 pm – 7.30 pm
